Health ministries team

Health is harmony with self and others, the environment, and with God -- a continuum of physical, social, psychological and spiritual well being. Christ's ministry was always wholistic; Christ treated the "whole" person and urged his disciples to follow his example. The FCUCC health ministry team's mission is to follow Christ's example by promoting wholeness, healing, wellness, and supporting the congregation as a caring and healing faith community. Some of the ways we carry out our mission are: health educational programs, spiritual counseling and care, referrals to appropriate health care providers, support groups, and personal health counseling.
